Dear Applicant,
The Millennium Sport Riders (MSR) of North Carolina in Wilmington, NC invites you to apply for its annual scholarship. This scholarship is in recognition of three of our fallen members, Mr. O’Keon (Hitman) Wilson, Mr. Thomas (T-Rob) Robinson and Mr. Kevin “Freeze” Easley. The scholarship will be awarded based on scholastic achievement (2.5 GPA minimum), financial need, community involvement, completeness of application, completion of essay, and acceptance into a baccalaureate, associate, or trade institution.
The student must live and attend a high school in one of the five (5) North Carolina Counties: New Hanover, Brunswick, Pender, Bladen, or Columbus.
If you are accepted as a scholarship recipient, a one-time award of $500.00 will be given upon receipt of verification of your enrollment into a post high-school higher education program, as stated above. It will be your responsibility to send verification of enrollment to the MSR-NC address listed below. Verification of enrollment may be obtained from the business office or the registrar’s office of the institution. Note: If you fail to enroll by the fall of this academic school year or if you become a public offender, you forfeit your rights to the scholarship.
Please return the enclosed application by the May 20, 2019 deadline to Mr. Kevin “Abdul” Graham at the address below. Before you mail your application, please be sure you have included all the required items, as an incomplete application may disqualify your eligibility.
It is most important that we receive your application packet by mail on or before May 20, 2019. Applications received after the closing date will not be considered.
